St. Patrick's Day Chalkboard and Printable

March is here and it was time to update the chalkboard. I searched and searched for an Irish blessing that wasn't too lengthy, 'cause I only have so much time to put into my chalkboard art. This one seemed to fit the bill -

I had a devil of a time getting the blank spaces filled in on this one and had to redo it several times. But, all in all, I think it turned out nice. I do love the little paper banner that I added to the top. Really completed the look.

I find it easier to create the layout in PicMonkey first, since I really have to have the design to copy. So I thought I would put it on a real chalkboard background and turn it in to a printable - just in case anyone wanted to print one out for their own St. Paddy's day celebration!

I made 3 different versions - one with white shamrocks, one with green shamrocks and one with a frame. Hope you can use one of them!

Just right click on you favorite and save it to your computer. I have to say that the printable was a whole lot easier than the actual chalkboard art. Thank heavens for Q-tips and my handy pencil/chalk sharpener. That does make it a lot easier.

Hope you all are having a great week! It was 80 degrees here today but the high tomorrow is only 43! I know I don't have any room to complain, but I sure will be glad when Spring sticks around for good!

For each petal on the shamrock.
This brings a wish your way
Good health, good luck, and happiness
For today and every day.

  1. Your chalkboard looks great! I don't do well with real chalk (have to use chalk markers) but you do so well! Thanks for sharing the printables ... Looking forward to slipping one in a frame. :)

    1. I love the markers too, but they are very difficult to erase. I've decided to just stick with the real stuff! Thanks so much for dropping by for a visit!
