Vintage Glass Globe Ghosties

Earlier in the year I ran across some interesting glass globes at our local thrift shop. They must have been for a vintage light fixture as they were in some very old individual cardboard boxes. I'm thinking they might have been in a school or hospital maybe? What do you think? If anyone out there knows what they were used for we sure would like to know.

Well, regardless of what they started out as, they are now adorable Ghosties!

All they needed was a bit of black vinyl, some ribbon and plastic spiders and they are just the cutest pair of Ghosts you've ever seen!

And they have a beautiful glow when you place a battery operated tea light under them -

We are going to be making several sets of these for our brand new Crafty In Crosby Etsy shop and hope to have them posted this weekend.

I hope that you are enjoying some fall weather! It's still very hot here in Crosby and we are desperately awaiting some cooler temps.

Wishing you beautiful cool fall breezes!

    1. Aw thanks Carla! They are really sweet looking when they are all lit up! I'm so looking forward to a little bit cooler weather - aren't you? This past week hasn't been too terribly bad, but sure would be nice if it was in the low 80's during the day!
